eORBIS.COM Announces Launch of New Sister Auction Website, eORBISB2B.COM

(San Antonio) May 23, 2000- eOrbis.com, a multicultural e-commerce community, announced today that it has launched a new sister website, eOrbisB2B.com. The sister website enables eOrbis.com to customize the already successful eOrbis.com website for businesses and will allow eOrbisB2B.com to reach more members with web based real-time auction services.

eOrbisB2B.com is a powerful e-commerce solution for companies wanting to buy and sell goods in a business-to-business (B2B) environment. This forum enables members to bid on inventory and advertise their products and services to thousands of potential buyers and sellers immediately. In addition, eOrbisB2B.com offers clients in specific vertical markets additional benefits such as sales and service support and personalized client services. The first vertical sector identified by eOrbisB2B.com is the Automotive Aftermarket vertical sector, which is already conducting business. Two additional vertical markets, Chemicals and Textiles, will be launched during the third quarter of year 2000. eOrbisB2B.com will be the first multilingual B2B website and will concentrate initially on the United States and Latin America.

eOrbis.com is proud to offer the new business-to-business capabilities to their members through their relationship with Bowstreet, a privately held Internet software and services company. Bowstreet is responsible for providing the technology that enables eOrbis.com to build and manage their B2B site with XML-based web services. These "business webs," seen as the next phase in web technology, are the relationships formed over the Internet by companies using XML, directories, and change-automation technology. eOrbis.com is one of only a handful of Internet businesses that utilizes this new technology.

"eOrbisB2B.com will be able to offer all of our member businesses customized web solutions and more efficient services," says James Strader, Chief Executive Officer of eOrbis.com. "We look forward to our continued growth and providing diverse website capabilities to our many strategic partners throughout the world."

Bob Crowley, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bowstreet added, "The Business Web Factory was able to offer eOrbis.com speed to market that would have taken months for the company to develop themselves. Instead, we automated the programming process for them and instantly created thousands of unique transactions with customers, suppliers, and partners."

The eOrbis.com mission is to become the premier multicultural e-commerce community in the world. A privately held corporation, eOrbis.com launched in November of 1999 as the world's first multilingual auction site. The company's proprietary, web-based e-commerce solutions enable Business-to-Business (B2B), Business-to-Consumer (B2C), and Consumer-to-Consumer (C2C) transactions. eOrbis.com facilitates international transactions with language translations, currency conversions, and secure cross border shipping services.
